5 Reasons to Add a Podcast to Your Marketing Plans

When companies think of digital media, they oftentimes default to things like web ads, social media, pop-ups, videos, etc. All are great channels to promote your brand and should be considered as part of a larger marketing program, but one fast-growing opportunity that doesn't get the same immediate attention is the podcast.

In a recent edition the Wall Street Journal, it was shared that "the percentage of people listening to podcasts in a given month has more than tripled in a decade." The article went on to also share that 47% of people in the U.S. have listened to a podcast in the past month.

In a 'practice what you preach' moment, it's stats like these that we continue to put resources into growing our own podcasts and providing another channel for our niche audiences to get the valuable information they need and want.

While not everyone has the resources, equipment and/or time to produce their own podcast, using them as a brand-building tool is a great plan B to leverage the platform in an efficient way. Here are few benefits of podcast advertising to better understand how it can help you reach your targeted audience.
