I'll come out and say it: Robust media applications are expensive! The tools are great and can take your business where it needs to be. But what if I told you there are other more cost-effective ways to get the same results?
There are many open-source applications that can help you save money while letting your creativity flourish. Open-source programs are modular and give others access to their source code so anyone can fix or improve it. The creators of open-source tools often push out updates and patches to improve their performance. And no, there won't be a million-and-one ads popping up on your screen or a need to subscribe to 30-day free trials with hundreds of fake emails.
